Living space and garden at This Art Fair

July 2022, Amsterdam

Works by Bo Stokkermans and Zoë d'Hont.

Within the context of a hectic fair, we created a living room and a mossgarden. A contemplative space which invites the visitor to slow down and navigate between micro and macro worlds. A space to start a conversation about material and immaterial value, (self)care and the necessity to make.

What eats around itself refers to the etomology of lichens, which are comprised of fungus cells that literally surround the algae cells to form a mutualistic bond. The presentation aims to create a similar symbiosis between two artist practices.
